Policy Officer to EXCO
Job description:
1) Conducting research in matters related to education, human capital development, science, technology and innovation as instructed by EXCO
2) Liaising with government departments, NGOs, universities and other institutions
3) Representing EXCO to meetings with government departments, NGOs, universities and other institutions
4) Preparing speeches, press statements and talking points for EXCO in Malay and English
Terms & conditions
i) Holds a degree in any discipline
ii) Ideally have one or two years minimum working experience
iii) Interested in public policy
iv) Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Knowledge in Mandarin and Tamil will be a bonus
vi) Salary will be informed in interview
vii) Candidates who can begin work immediately starting 1 January 2015 will be given priority
