I would firstly like to thank the voters in Setiawangsa and everyone who supported me for giving me their absolute trust during this General Election.
It is with their immense and constant support that I was able to secure this marginal seat that UMNO-Barisan Nasional has managed to defend every election since it was first contested.
My party machinery has functioned as my core support system since I began campaigning, and to that I am very grateful. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to all parties in Pakatan Harapan for working as one to win this seat.
I will honour the mandate that you have entrusted me by fulfilling my role as your parliamentarian. I intend to bring forth issues that are substantial to you and ensure that they will be in your best interests. I will also try my best to fulfil the promises I have made throughout my campaign.
Thank you and may we work together to rebuild Malaysia. As I mentioned in my campaign, when we win Setiawangsa, we win Putrajaya.
