Imaan and I would like to wish all our Hindu Malaysian friends a most blessed and Happy Deepavali.
The celebration of Deepavali—in which Hindus commemorate the triumph of Light over Darkness—is yet another manifestation of the great diversity which is the foundation of Malaysia’s strength.
Deepavali also reminds us that we must always hold out for hope of better times no matter how great the challenges before us seem.
Moreover, occasions like these are times for us to renew and reaffirm the bonds of family and friendship which link us together.
I hope all Malaysians will have a joyous Deepavali with their loved ones this year.
